Stepping Stones of Rockford, Inc. is a private, 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization which provides housing and rehabilitation services to adults with serious mental illnesses in Rockford, IL . Most of our residents come from the Rockford area, and our primary service area is Winnebago and Boone Counties. Residents are admitted to our program on referral from the Janet Wattles Center. Acceptance is based on each individual's assessed needs and space limitations.
Stepping Stones of Rockford, Inc. is dedicated to providing housing and rehabilitation services to individuals with serious mental illnesses. We serve adults and their families by providing intensive care management and psycho-social rehabilitation targeted at meeting each person's individual needs. Stepping Stones recognizes the stigma of mental illness and in response provides community education and advocacy on behalf of persons with serious mental illnesses.
